Here is where we make sense of all the research and insight we have gathered during step 1 and share with the team.
These insight statements are the building blocks for ideas. We can take these into a variety of ideation workshops with a multitude of disciplines and experiences to arrive at a large volume of ideas fairly quickly.
The group collectively embarks on a process of narrowing down the ideas through rapid prototyping, testing and feedback. This is an important checkpoint an important pillar of Human-Centered design. By rapid prototyping early on in the ideas phase we are gaining appropriate user feedback ensuring that our ideas are on track and hitting the mark with the people you are designing for. We don’t’ want to plough ahead into production with an idea that will not work.
